Ivy League Team.

Our Ivy League Team.

The three 'boys' do a great job recycling our English ivy shearings into fertilizer. Before the ivy goes to seed and creates havoc elsewhere, we cut it back and feed it to the sheep who love the fresh greens in December.

  1. The rams are what I’ve coined our ‘foster fertilizers’. Their owners needed to put them on good pasture and we needed mobile fertilizers. They will be sheared in the new year for their spectacular wool but will also be destined for a local freezer. Can’t keep three teenaged boys around too long! Our ‘foster fertilizer’ program will be expanding next year if all goes well…
